Work
As Zagreb is OURS platform established itself as the political party it won almost 8% of votes in May 2017 for Zagreb Assembly as well as gained international support, Tomašević joined the city council with 3 other green-left coalition councilors and today represents the most dynamic opposition to Milan Bandić's decade-long rule, being the most vocal critic and contender for his position in 2021 elections. Tomašević blames opportunism of Bandić – an ex-social democrat, as Bandić is "supported by the extreme right – for the corruption, the misuse of public spaces, and the lack of attention to ecology." Tomašević works professionally in the Institute for Political Ecology in Zagreb, Croatia.
