In 1989, Dias joined the theatre group "Nagorik Natya Sampradaya".Dias is married to Priya Dias. Together, with their daughter Ahona, they permanently reside in Hicksville in Long Island, New York. As of 2015, Dias has been working in the management division of American Honda Motor Company.
