"Too Many Broken Hearts" is a song by Australian singer Jason Donovan. The song was released on 20 February 1989 as the third single from his debut album, Ten Good Reasons, and 1991's Greatest Hits album and again on a later collection in 2006. It was written and produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, it reached number-one in the United Kingdom and Ireland in March 1989. Additionally the song peaked within the top 10 in Australia, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Norway and Spain. Donovan, who had found fame two years earlier with his hugely popular role in the TV soap Neighbours, had a previous number-one with his duet with Neighbours co-star Kylie Minogue "Especially for You" in January 1989. The music video was filmed in Beechworth, Victoria.
