Touch Me (film)


Touch Me is a 1997 drama-romance film directed by H. Gordon Boos. It stars Amanda Peet, Michael Vartan, Kari Wuhrer and Peter Facinelli.

Plot

Bridgette is an actress teaching aerobics at an L.A. health club, she falls in love with idle playboy Adam, who runs his father's gym. Her life shifts onto a more contented track when she gives in to the inevitable passion between them, at the same time landing the lead role in a David Mamet play. One day, she finds out that one of her ex-lovers died of AIDS, and, thinking that Adam is having an affair with another woman, she backs off angrily, after some hesitation, Bridgette goes through with the test, and after the weeklong wait for results alone, she turns out to be positive.
