Trade Union Congress of the Philippines


The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines is the largest national trade union center in the Philippines. Formed in 1975 with the official backing of the government of then-President Ferdinand Marcos, TUCP is affiliated with the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the International Trade Union Confederation.
During the 1980s it was funded with 5.7 million dollars from the United States Congress through the National Endowment for Democracy.
