Treephort

Treephort is an American punk rock band from Marietta, Georgia.
An article by the Associated Press brought the band international attention in 2004 for their stage antics while on tour.
Before this attention, Treephort toured the U.S. intensively, even playing the 2003 Vans Warped Tour, as well as being featured in a kill scene in the low budget slasher film Punk Rock Holocaust filmed on the tour that same year.
Treephort disbanded in late 2004, but reunited for one show, January 29, 2005, then again for a week-long tour in the Summer of 2007, and later reformed yet again in 2009 and have put out several self-released albums, playing live shows sporadically ever since.
Treephort vocalist, songwriter, and founder Lee Satterfield owned and operated the now closed all-ages, DIY punk venue Swayze's Venue in Marietta, Georgia from 2002 till 2016. After 16 years Satterfield closed it after multiple issues with his health and numerous hospitalizations.
