Trey Brown


Theotis "Trey" Brown, III is a former American football cornerback who is currently the Director of Player Personnel for the St. Louis BattleHawks. Prior to being hired by the XFL, Brown served as the Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football. Prior to the AAF, Brown spent 9 years in the National Football League as a scout/executive. From 2010 to 2012, he was a scout with the New England Patriots. Then, from 2013 to 2018, he was with the Philadelphia Eagles in a variety of capacities including the Director of College Scouting from 2016-2018. As a player, he was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at UCLA. He also played for the New York Sentinels. He is the son of former NFL running back Theotis Brown.
In 2016, he appeared in a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 TV commercial.
On May 29, 2019, Brown was hired as the Director of Player Personnel for the St. Louis BattleHawks.
Brown has made the Super Bowl twice in his front office career: as an Area Scout in 2011 with the New England Patriots, and as the Director of College Scouting in 2017 with the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown has also interviewed for General Manager jobs in the NFL on two separate occasions – for the Buffalo Bills in May 2017 and for the Oakland Raiders in December 2018.
