Trostianets

Trostianets is a city in Sumy Oblast, Ukraine. It serves as the administrative district of Trostianets Raion. Trostianets is located on the Boromlya River, from Sumy. Landmarks include a neo-Gothic "round courtyard", the late Baroque church of the Annunciation, the 18th-century Galitzine palace, and a "grotto of nymphs".
In March 1930 the village was the centre of a quickly defeated anti-Soviet Union revolt.
