incest

the goddess

prove
her
innocence
and had power given to her to
carry
a
sieve

of
water
from the
Tiber
to the
temple
.
M. Tuccius,
curule aedile
in
192 BC
, and
praetor
in
190 BC
, with
Apulia
and
Brutii
as his
province
, where he also remained for the following two years as
propraetor
. In
185 BC
he was one of the
triumviri
appointed
for founding
colonies
at
Sipontum
and
Buxentum
.
M. Tuccius, accused C.
Sempronius
Rufus
of
vis
in
51 BC
and was in his
turn
accused by Rufus of the same offense.
