Turtle Creek (Kerr County, Texas)


Turtle Creek is a creek that rises five miles north of Bandera County in Kerr County, Texas. It runs 24.5 miles to the Guadalupe River, 6 miles southeast of Kerville.
Charles Schreiner, Sr., "father of the Texas Hill Country" and Kerrville businessman, engaged in cattle ranching at Turtle Creek in the late nineteenth century.
