UNICOM Global is a US-based IT company, headquartered in Mission Hills, California. It is the parent company of the formerly NASDAQ-listed UNICOM Government, Inc., whom it acquired in June 2012.
Corry Hong is the founder, CEO, and president of the company.
It is also the parent company of USRobotics, Macro 4 and Firetide. It has acquired a number of products from IBM – System Architect, Focal Point, PurifyPlus, solidDB, Cognos Finance, and the PowerHouse programming language.
In 2006, they acquired SoftLanding Systems, who were one of the "Big Three" change management vendors on the IBM i platform.
In 2015, its subsidiary Unicom Government was one of 6 vendors jointly awarded a $652 million U.S. Army contract for enterprise IT modernization.
