UNSW Hall, University of New South Wales

UNSW Hall is a residential college that is a part of University of New South Wales' student accommodation portfolio, launched in 2014.

History

UNSW Hall is located mid-campus on the north side of the Kensington campus of the University of New South Wales. Built in 1966 and originally housing the residents of Phillip Baxter College, the facility was rebranded as UNSW Hall in 2014 and has been home to a diverse group of 208 under and postgraduates since then. Very popular with local and international students alike, UNSW Hall has a student run House Committee that organises social, sporting and cultural activities during semester.

Accommodation

UNSW Hall is a part-catered facility, offering students two meals per day during session. The accommodation has share bathrooms and limited twin rooms, making it affordable while still providing the essentials of a residential college experience.

House Committee

The House Committee is made up of elected students leaders holding various portfolios aimed at offering residents countless opportunities to be involved in extra-curricular activities. The HC has an executive group and administers a budget each year across areas such as cultural, communities/charities, sport, social and communications.
