• 1 or 28 August, 1971: Guerrilla operation were made during the liberation war of Bangladesh on Mohamaya railway bridge between Mirsharai and Mastannagar railway station of Chittangong district. When Ulka Express train was about to cross the bridge, a bomb were exploded, leaving severe damage to the bridge and the train. Four coaches along with the locomotive fell down from the bridge. Among the Pakistani army, 10 died and 5 injured. Many Bangalis died too.
