Uri Singer
Uri Singer, an American national originally from Israel, is a businessman and film producer. He is the owner of . Singer has produced multiple award-winning films, among them are Open Road, Like Sunday, Like Rain with Leighton Meester, Debra Messing and Billie Joe Armstrong; Experimenter with Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Ryder.
His latest feature, Marjorie Prime, starring Jon Hamm, Geena Davis, Tim Robbins and Lois Smith, premiered at Sundance 2017. The movie was written and directed by Michael Almereyda and it is based on a play by the 2015 Pulitzer finalist Jordan Harrison.
Prior to producing films Singer lived in Brazil, where he developed marketing campaigns for a number of successful Brazilian products including Guarana Antartica.
Singer and Passage Pictures believe in producing quality content for film and television that transcend genres and demographics. Future projects include: I am Rose Fatou, and Rich, Tracks, based on the best seller book, and White Noise, based on the Don DeLillo. best-selling novel. His latest movie Tesla written and directed by Michael Almereyda starring Ethan Hawke and Kyle MacLachlan was filmed in New York and it's currently in post-production.
Singer partnered with George Berry in August 2018 to launch TaleFlick, an online platform that allows producers and buyers seeking new material to search a database of published content, including books, short stories and manuscripts.
