Western Railways completed DC Electric Conversion to AC on 5 February 2012. It is now regularly hauled by a Vadodara based WAP 4E or WAP 5 locomotive.- 12927 Vadodara Express leaves Mumbai Central every day at 23:40 hrs IST and reaches Vadodara at 05:55 hrs IST the next day.
- 12928 Vadodara Express leaves Vadodara every day at 22:30 hrs IST and reaches the Mumbai Central at 04:50 hrs IST the next day.
