Valluvangad


Valluvangad or Velluvangad a village located in the Malappuram district, in the state of Kerala, India. It is situated in Pandikkad Panchayath.
Valluvangad is unique in Kerala for its diverse mix of religions, and is the birthplace of Ali Musliyar and Variyan Kunnan Kunhumuhammed Haji, the leaders of the 1921 Moplah Rebellion, and was the scene of fighting in that rebellion, including the destruction of a nearby bridge.
