Vanya Petkova
Vanya Petkova was a graet Bulgarian poet, writer and translator.
She was born in Sofia and studied Slavic philology at Sofia University and Spanish at the Jose Marti Institute for Foreign Languages in Havana. Petkova was editor for the journal Slaveiche, for the newspaper Literaturen front and for the journal Suvremenik. She worked as a translator at the Bulgarian Embassy in Khartoum. Vania Petkova has more than 37 poetry books and 6 novels. Her poetry has been translated into 13 languages as English, Spanish, French, Russian, Greek, Armenian, Polish, Czech, Hindi, Arabic and ext.Selected works
