Vaudeville Smash
Vaudeville Smash is an Australian funk/disco/pop band based in Melbourne. The group achieved international success after it collaborated with sports commentator, Les Murray, on a tribute song honoring the French soccer player, Zinedine Zidane. The song was named by Billboard as one of ten alternative, unofficial World Cup 2014 anthems. Band members include brothers Marc, Dan and Luca Lucchesi, Martin Lubran and James Bowers. Since forming in 2009, the band has released two full-length albums and three EPs in addition to the Zidane tribute song. A new album is planned for release in November 2020.
