Vendetta Vixens

The Vendetta Vixens is a roller derby league based in Northampton, England. Founded in 2011, the team skates Flat Track Roller Derby. Several local events have been attended by the Vendetta Vixens since the formation of the team including the Northampton Festival of Wellbeing and Northampton Light Night
Vendetta Vixens were competitors involved in the End Of The World Series, a Roller Derby tournament which was battled by various local teams throughout 2012. These are MK Roller Derby, Hertfordshire Helles Bells, Rebellion Roller Derby, Bedfordshire Rollergirls and Oxford Roller Derby.
The Vendetta Vixens hosted their first public home bout on 30 June 2012 and have gone on to host several more.
The Vixens have been part of a growing movement and are currently competing in the British Championships, the largest roller derby tournament of its kind in Europe.
The league has developed and now comprises the Vendetta Vixens and the Lost Girls.
The Team name 'Vendetta Vixens' has ties to the location of Northampton via a comic book series V for Vendetta written by Alan Moore, an English writer from Northampton. The team colours are purple and black, purple chosen specifically as it has connotations of neo-feminism which is embraced by the team.
