Vernon Griffiths
Thomas Vernon Griffiths was a New Zealand music teacher and lecturer, composer. He was born in West Kirby, Cheshire, England, on 22 June 1894.
In 1963 he composed the 4 page organ score Meditation on Maria zu lieben for organ which was published a year later by Novello and Company Limited under their No. 338 of Original Compositions .
In the 1957 Queen's Birthday Honours, Griffiths was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
