Veronique Branquinho


Veronique Branquinho is a Belgian fashion designer of Portuguese ancestry who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. She graduated in 1995 and extended her brand with a 2003 fall men's collection. She decided to stop her label in 2009, but returned three years later, entering a collaboration with Italian manufacturer Gibo, now Onward Luxury Group until mid-2017. Her eponymous line was based in Antwerp, while her runway shows took place in Paris, the last of which was shown in June 2017.

Projects

In 2008, Veronique Branquinho curated a fashion journal - A Magazine. The magazine was published following her exhibition at the MoMu - Antwerp's Fashion Museum - MOI, VERONIQUE. BRANQUINHO TOuTe NUe, marking the tenth anniversary of the Veronique Branquinho designer label. From 1999 through 2000, she designed for the Italian House Ruffo Research. In 2009, Branquinho took the role as the artistic director of luxury Belgian leather goods brand Delvaux through 2011. She has also served as a professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
