Virgil, South Dakota


Virgil is a town in Beadle County in the U.S. state of South Dakota. The population was 16 at the 2010 census.

History

Virgil has its start in the early 1880s when the railroad was extended to that point. The town was named for the Ancient Roman poet Virgil.
