Visa requirements for Polish citizens


Visa requirements for Polish citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Poland. As of 11 April 2020, Polish citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 181 countries and territories, ranking the Polish passport 11th in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index.

Territories

Visa requirements for Polish citizens for visits to various territories, disputed areas, partially recognized countries and restricted zones:
Holders of various categories of official Polish passports have additional visa-free access to the following countries - Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Indonesia, Iran, Kuwait, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Qatar, Russia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam. Holders of diplomatic or service passports of any country have visa-free access to Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Mali and Zimbabwe.

Non-visa restrictions

Fingerprinting

Several countries including Argentina, Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and the United States demand all passengers to be fingerprinted on arrival.

Right to consular protection in non-EU countries

When in a non-EU country where there is no Polish embassy, Polish citizens as EU citizens have the right to get consular protection from the embassy of any other EU country present in that country.
