Visa requirements for Slovak citizens


Visa requirements for Slovak citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Slovakia. As of 7 April 2020, Slovak citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 181 countries and territories, ranking the Slovak passport 11th in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index.

Visa requirements for Slovak citizens for visits to various territories, disputed areas, partially recognized countries and restricted zones:
;Europe
Travellers with Artsakh visa or evidence of travel to Artsakh will be permanently denied entry to Azerbaijan.
;Africa
;Asia
;Caribbean and North Atlantic
;Oceania
;South Atlantic and Antarctica
Holders of various categories of official Slovak passports have additional visa-free access to the following countries - Algeria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Holders of diplomatic or service passports of any country have visa-free access to Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Mali and Zimbabwe.

Non-visa restrictions

Right to consular protection in non-EU countries

When in a non-EU country where there is no Slovak embassy, Slovak citizens as EU citizens have the right to get consular protection from the embassy of any other EU country present in that country.
