Vogorno


Vogorno is a municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. The village is located above Lago di Vogorno, a reservoir formed by the Verzasca Dam.

Geography

Vogorno has an area,, of. Of this area, or 1.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while or 59.5% is forested. Of the rest of the land, or 1.3% is settled, or 3.0% is either rivers or lakes and or 22.8% is unproductive land.
