Władysławów, Greater Poland Voivodeship
Władysławów is a village in Turek County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Władysławów. It lies approximately north of Turek and east of the regional capital Poznań.
The village has a population of 1,625. Almost all of its pre-war Jewish population of 200 or so was murdered in the Holocaust. After being terrorized and robbed by the occupying Germans and their local Polish helpers, in 1941 most were transported to a rural ghetto near Kowale Panskie, and then in 1942 to Chelmno where they were gassed.
