WIPR (AM)
WIPR is a radio station broadcasting a talk radio format. Licensed to San Juan, Puerto Rico, the station is currently owned by The Puerto Rico Public Broadcasting Corporation and is branded as 940 AM.
WIPR's audio signal is simulcasting on WIPR-TV channel 6.6 in San Juan & WIPM-TV channel 3.6 in Mayaguez, but was removed on March 20, 2017.
On January 25, 2017, WIPR has been granted an FCC construction permit to move to a new transmitter site, to decrease power to 8,000 watts.
