WLOP

WLOP is a radio station broadcasting a Sports radio format. Licensed to Jesup, Georgia, United States, the station is currently owned by Jesup Broadcasting Corp. and features programming from Fox Sports Radio. WLOP is Jesup's heritage station. Use of the term WLOP by Jesup/Wayne County natives can signify either WIFO-FM or WLOP. WLOP, meaning 1370-AM is usually referred to by longtime listeners as "The AM" or "The AM Side". This dates back to when both stations were simulcast for a large portion of the broadcast day, and how they were referred to on air. Few stations anywhere are known by everyone in a community as "the AM" like WLOP1370. Since the re-inception of separate formats in the mid 1990s, WLOP is Fox Sports Radio, AM-1370, or just 1370. WLOP is the original local Wayne County voice 24/7, as it continues its seventh decade of service as a southeast Georgia favorite.
