Wanetsi
Vanechi , also called Tareenō, Chalgarī, or Vanechi, is a Pashto dialect which is spoken by a small population of Tareen tribes in Pakistan and Afghanistan, primarily in Harnai and Sanjawi area east of Quetta, northern Balochistan, Pakistan. Wanetsi has some similarities with the Pamir language of Munji, which is spoken in the southern part of Badakhshan Province, northeastern Afghanistan.
Although usually considered a Pashto dialect, the prevailing view of modern scholars is that Wanetsi may be considered a separate language, which branched off from modern Pashto in the early Middle Iranian stage before some of the characteristics of Pashto had been fully developed. Prods Oktor Skjærvø states:
Now Wanetsi is getting more and more influenced by standard Pashto. There are also dialectal divisions within Wanetsi, although the variation between them is very small.
