Warren Harper


Warren Harper was an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Texas Western College—now the University of Texas at El Paso —from 1963 to 1964, compiling a record of 3–15–2. Harper began his coaching career at the high school level in Texas, where he coached at Sherman High School and Amarillo High School. He was an assistant at the University of Oklahoma from 1968 to 1982, where he coached linebackers such as Rod Shoate, George Cumby, and Daryl Hunt.
