Warsaw City Council


Warsaw City Council is a unicameral governing body of the city of Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
The council was first created following the location of Warsaw under the terms of the Magdeburg Law in the Middle Ages. The modern council is regulated by the Warsaw Act of 2002. It consists of 60 councilors elected in free elections for a four-year term. The current chairman of the council is Ewa Malinowska-Grupińska.
