The club was created on 14 May 1945 in Gorzów Wielkopolski. In the 1989/1990 season, the Warta players won the district championship of gorzowskie, and the reform of the system of play were included in the third division. In later years due to financial problems the management of the club withdrew deals from the first senior team and subsequently withdrew from the junior team competition
In 2008, they relaunched the football team qualifying seniors to Gorzow Group B. In 2013, the management board of the team was changed which also contributed to its success. In subsequent seasons, the club gradually rebuilt its position and was promoted in 2018 to III liga.
