Washington Korean-American Forum

The Washington Korean-American Forum was established in 2007 by prominent Korean Americans active in business, academia, politics and research fields in the greater Washington, D.C. area. The current chairman is Jay Kim, the first Korean-American to be elected to U.S. Congress.
The mission of the Forum is to strengthen the U.S.- Korean economic, diplomatic and other relationships. To this end, the Forum was very supportive of the Free trade agreement between the United States of America and the Republic of Korea which was renegotiated in 2010, and coordinated a letter of support signed by 101 congressman.
