Wendell Lewis Willkie House


Wendell Lewis Willkie House, also known as the Cullen-Mauzy-Willkie House, is a historic home located at Rushville, Rush County, Indiana. It was built about 1874, and is a 2 1/2-story, "L"-plan, Italianate style brick dwelling. It sits on a limestone foundation and has a slate hipped roof. It features segmental arched openings, paired scroll brackets, decorative rosettes, projecting bay, and a replacement porch built about 1900. It was the home of Republican presidential candidate Wendell Willkie from 1940 to 1944.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
