William Luebke


William Luebke was an American construction worker, woolen mill superintendent, and politician.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Luebke studied in high school and vocational school. He took a summer course at University of Wisconsin; the School for Workers in Industry. Luebke worked as a construction worker and a woolen mill superintendent. In 1941 and 1943, Luebke served in the Wisconsin State Assembly on the Progressive and then in 1955, 1957, and 1959 on the Democratic ticket. Luebke died in his house in West Allis, Wisconsin of a heart attack while still in office.
