Without Your Love (André song)
"Without Your Love" was the Armenian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, Armenia's debut at the Contest. Performed in English by André, it opened the semi-final before being performed last in the final, having qualified in 6th position with 150 points.
In the final, André received 129 points, including the maximum 12 from Russia and 10 from Turkey, to finish 8th and ensure Armenia an automatic final berth for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.
The song itself is an energetic dance number, with influences of the ethnic styles which have proven popular over recent years. Indeed, comparisons have been drawn to Sertab Erener's performance in 2003, as the presentation involved what were variously referred to as "ropes", "braces" and "tapes" with which André and his dancers would suspend each other at different points of the song.
It was succeeded as Armenian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 by Hayko with "Anytime You Need".
