Woonsocket Harris Public Library
Woonsocket Harris Public Library is a public library at 303 Clinton Street in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Founded in 1866, it is Rhode Island's first public library. The library was originally housed in what is now Woonsocket City Hall where it was founded by Edward Harris, an abolitionist, wool manufacturer and philanthropist. In 1974 the library moved to the current building, which was renovated in 2001.
