Workplace Relations Commission

The Workplace Relations Commission is an Irish government-operated quasi-judicial forum which decides cases of alleged discrimination under Irish equality legislation. Established in 2015, it replaced – and took over all the functions of – the earlier Equality Tribunal, which was set up under the Employment Equality Act 1998 and had its capacity enhanced under the Employment Equality Acts 1998-2008, Equal Status Acts 2000-2008, and Pensions Acts 1990-2008.
