Wuhan Yangtze International School Wuhan Yangtze International Schoolinternational school located within the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Wuhan, Hubei , China . WYIS uses an American curriculum and serves grades PreK-12. It opened in 2003 as the South Lake International SchoolHistory Wuhan Yangtze International School is a member of the International Schools Consortium. iSC is a division of the LDi family of companies. WYIS first started out in 2003 as South Lake International School. It moved to San Jiao Hu Elementary School in the WEDZ in 2005, and it changed its name to its current one in 2007. In 2008, WYIS received full accreditation status and in 2011, received its official international school license from the national government of the PRC .
