Yeongsan Shin clan
Yeongsan Shin clan is one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan is in Changnyeong County, South Gyeongsang Province. According to the research held in 2015, the number of Yeongsan Shin clan's member was 187426. Their founder was who entered Goryeo as one of the Eight Scholars in Northern Song Dynasty. He was from Longxi Commandery. He passed Imperial examination in 1138 and was appointed as Jinzi Guanglu Daifu and munha sirang pyeongjangsa. He was settled in Yeongchwi Mountain located in Changnyeong County. Then, he founded Yeongsan Shin clan. He got Jeongui ’s name after his demise.
