Yevheniy Murayev


Yevheniy Volodymyrovych Murayev is a Ukrainian politician and media owner.
Muraiev has been a deputy of the Kharkiv Oblast Council, deputy of the Ukrainian parliament VII convocation and VIII convocation. He is a former member of Party of Regions, Opposition Bloc and former chairman of the political council of the For Life party. In September 2018 he left Za zhyttia and created the new political party Ours. On 10 January 2019 Murayev's party elected him as their candidate in the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election. On 7 March 2019 Muraev pulled out of the election favor of Oleksandr Vilkul. He also announced that the Vilkul party Opposition Bloc and Nashi would soon merge. In the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election Muraev headed the nationwide list ot this party that won 3.23% of the votes and thus did not overcame the 5% election barrier keeping Muraev out of parliament.

Family, education and work

Yevheniy Murayev was born into a family of employees. Father Volodymyr Kuzmych was the general director of the "Rapid" CJSC. Mother Olha Oleksiivna – associate professor of the department of chemistry in Kharkiv National University.
He graduated from Physics and Mathematics Lyceum # 27 in Kharkiv. In 1994 he enrolled at the Faculty of Economics of the Kharkiv State University, the specialty "Finance and Credit", which in 1999 has finished with the distinction.

Views

He claims that annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation is recognized by the world and that annexation is favorable to the government of Ukraine.
Murayev is one of the authors of idea that in liberation of Mariupol were taking part such American military related companies like Greystone and Blackwater.

Personal life

Divorced by the decision of the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkiv, which entered into force on April 7, 2017.
He brings up two sons – Mykhaylo and Ihor.
