Yosyp Hoshuliak - Canadian Ukrainian opera singer. He was born on October 7, 1922 in Palashivka and died on May 26, 2015 in Toronto. He graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, the The Royal Conservatory of Music, the University of Ottawa, the Markiyan Shashkevych Gymnasium «Ridna Shkola». He was awarded the Merited Artist of Ukraine.
