Yued
Yued, also spelled Juat, are an indigenous Noongar people located north of Perth.Name
According to Ngepal, the last traditional male survivor of the Whadjuk tribe, the ethnonym was pronounced as I:wat. Juat meant "no".Country
The Juat's traditional lands encompassed an estimated, in the area north of Perth. It included Gingin, Moora, New Norcia and ran along the Moore River, and Cape Leschenault. The northernmost boundary was around Hill River. The eastern inland frontier was about Miling and the Victoria Plains.The Juat had six classificatory terms for their marriage sections:
