Yvan Lamonde
Yvan Lamonde - Canadian historian, writer and essayist. He was born on March 30, 1944 in Saint-Tite. He was awarded the 1981 Governor General's Awards, the Acfas Andre-Laurendeau Award, the Prix Percy-W.-Foy, the Raymond Klibansky Prize, the Medal of the Académie des lettres du Québec, the Prix littéraire du Gouverneur général, the 2004 Governor General's Awards, the 1980 Governor General's Awards, the Prix Maxime Raymond, the John Ellis Hare.
