Zach Micklewright


Zachary Dean Micklewright is an American mixed martial artist who is also in the United States Marine Corps.

He made his WEC debut against Muhsin Corbbrey on December 19, 2009 at WEC 45. He won the fight via unanimous decision. Micklewright was then expected to face Alex Karalexis at WEC 48 on April 24, 2010. However, Micklewright was forced out of the bout due to injury and Karalexis instead faced Anthony Pettis.
Micklewright faced longtime MMA fighter Bart Palaszewski at WEC 50 on August 18, 2010. He lost the fight via second round KO.
In his last fight with the WEC, Micklewright faced Dustin Poirier at WEC 52 on November 11, 2010. He lost the bout via first round TKO, and was then cut from the roster following WEC's merger with the UFC.

Post-WEC career

Following his WEC release, Micklewright faced Jason Chambers at Extreme Challenge 182 on April 30, 2011. He won via first round TKO. Two years after his last fight, Micklewright returned to MMA and faced Ted Worthington at Caged Aggression 11 on October 12, 2013, and won via TKO.
Micklewright got a TKO win over Zak Ottow at Caged Aggression 12 on March 15, 2014.
