Zahid Khan (politician)


Muhammad Zahid Khan is a Pakistani Politician and Member of Senate of Pakistan, currently serving as Chairperson- Senate Committee on Water and Power.

Political career

He belongs to Lower Dir District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and was elected to the Senate of Pakistan in March 2009 on general seat as Awami National Party candidate. He remained a Senator till March 2015 till his term ended. He iremained the chairperson of Senate Committee on Water and Power and member of senate committees of Communications, Information Technology & Telecommunication and Parliamentary Affairs. He is the central spokesman of Awami National Party.
