Zaland
Zaland is an old Iranian Bactrian word common in middle Persian, regional Dari-Persian, The meaning was derived from middle Persian and has maintained more usage among Dari-Persian, some East-Iranians, and Afghan Pashto speakers: the word means ''Shine'/Twinkling'. It is also common by cultural definition among Tajiki-Persian Although, most Zaland surnames mainly speak only Eastern-Persian, commonly referred to as the Dari-Persian dialect.
