Zeitoun, Cairo
Zeitoun, also El Zeitoun, is a famous district in Cairo, Egypt. It became known for its Marian apparitions during the years 1968–1971.
It was the birthplace of Fathia Nkrumah, wife of Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of Ghana.
In Arabic, the name literally means olives.
