Çiçek Island
Çiçek Island is an Aegean island of Turkey. It is in Edremit Gulf at and administratively a part of Ayvalık ilçe of Balıkesir Province. Its distance to the nearest point on the mainland is about.
The surface area of the island is and it is covered with olive trees and narcissus. The ancient name of the island was Argistri. In 1929 the island was the property of a Turkish family from Thessaloniki. However, according to Milliyet newspaper currently the island is put on market.
