Škoda Kamiq


The Škoda Kamiq is a subcompact crossover manufactured by the Czech automaker Škoda Auto. The car is smaller than Škoda Karoq and Škoda Kodiaq. The name was first used in June 2018, on a subcompact crossover built exclusively for the market in China. Another subcompact crossover for the international market, with the same name, was introduced in February 2019, at the Geneva Motor Show.

Global version

The global Škoda Kamiq is a subcompact crossover SUV, that was designed, and has been produced by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto from the end of June 2019, after it debuted at the February 2019 Geneva Auto Show. It is based on the concept Vision X, which Škoda first introduced to the public in 2018.
The Kamiq is 4,241 mm long, 1,793 mm wide, 1,531 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,651 mm. Deliveries officially started in September 2019.

Engines

Chinese version

The Chinese Kamiq is a subcompact SUV that was designed and built in China by the SAIC Volkswagen joint venture of the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto. It was introduced at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show in April, and launched in June 2018, positioned below the Škoda Karoq compact crossover SUV. The price of the Škoda Kamiq ranges from 109,900 to 130,900 yuan.
This version is slightly larger than the international version. A single engine variant is offered: a 1.5l with a six speed automatic transmission. Just like the Škoda Kodiaq GT, a sportier version called the Škoda Kamiq GT was available from 2019, featuring a redesigned front fascia and rear body section.
